Spring 2014 Amnesty Event

On Saturday April 26, 2014 in conjunction with Keep Santa Fe Beautiful, residents of the County & City can participate in the BuRRT Amnesty event and bring in the following items at NO CHARGE:

      • Trash, rubbish, unwanted materials
      • Bulky items – large appliances, furniture, mattresses, box springs
      • Remodeling or building materials, carpet, tiles, concrete, bricks, metals
      • Computers, monitors, printers, televisions, household electronics, small appliances
      • Household cleaners, automotive products, paints, solvents, poisons, fertilizers, batteries, pool and hobby products
      • Up to eight (8) passenger tires will be accepted (rims are OK)
      • Green waste (no BAGS please)

    On Sunday April 27, 2014 to help reduce the potential for wildfires in the Santa Fe area, residents can participate in the BuRRT Amnesty event and bring in the following items at NO CHARGE:

    • Up to eight (8) passenger tires will be accepted (rims are OK)
    • Green waste (no BAGS please)

    Please note: Tarp or cover your load before bringing it to BuRRT. Appropriate tipping fees will be charged for any materials generated from businesses, organizations, contractors, landscapers, and private haulers. Download and distribute our flyer here.

BLASTING NOTIFICATION

The Caja del Rio Landfill will be blasting basalt rock to develop Cell 5B/6B at the Landfill. The development of Cell 5B/6B is necessary for the provision of future waste disposal capacity. Up to 30 total blasts are anticipated for the landfill development. Check the schedule for future posting dates. MORE INFO >
